Violin 1

Ng Wei Ping 

Holds a BA (First-Class Honors) in Music from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (University of Wales). Previous teachers include Mr Foo Say Ming (1st violinist of SSO) and Mr Alexander Souptel (Former Concertmaster of Singapore Symphony Orchestra). Performs with the Metropolitan Festival Orchestra, Singapore Lyric Opera Orchestra, and Chamber Sounds.

Chia Jit Min

Currently plays with the string ensemble re: mix, Singapore Lyric Opera Orchestra, and the New Opera Singapore Orchestra.

Viola 

Christoven Tan

Graduated from NAFA-RCM with First-class honours.  He plays with the Singapore Lyric Opera Orchestra, The Philharmonic Orchestra, Re:mix, and Chamber Players. His teachers include Mr. Jiri Heger, Michelle Li Min Zhe, Volker Hartung, Heidi Castleman, Susie Meszaros, Jutta Puchammer, David Holland, Daniel Sweeney, Becca Albers, and Patricia McCarty.

Elizabeth Tan

Social Work graduate (First class honours) from the National University of Singapore. Licientiate (LRSM) in Cello Performance. Studies with Mrs Herminia Ilano. Currently plays with the Singapore Lyric Opera Orchestra. Teaches cello at United World College South East Asia (Dover Campus).

Currently studying viola performance at Longy School of Music, Boston. Previously studied at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) and Yong Siew Toh Conservatory (NUS).
